Management / Building Physics
I enjoy working on a challenge. Ultimately it is about creating an end result for a satisfied customer. To do that I am fully involved in the project along with the client and my colleagues. I am patient, consistent and meticulous, and ensure that the needs and wishes of clients and colleagues are always taken account.
In my spare time I like to travel and see as much of the world as possible.
Robbert-Jan Schakenraad

'Working together for the best solution'
For me, construction is the best profession. Working together with designers, to best realise a building that is not only beautiful but also as efficient and economical as possible. My strength is in practical thinking and ultimately finding a suitable solution. I like wood constructions; the raw material for the future, inexhaustible, CO2 neutral and also provides an attractive appearance.
I enjoy challenges both at work and privately in the field of sports.
Reinier Vinken
Management
'Challenges are fun'
Since 2002 I have been the co-owner of Ingenieursburo Ulehake. I love all the challenges that come my way. For me, that is best expressed in the translation of a creative idea into a practical and applicable solution. I get the most satisfaction when able to deliver this to a satisfied customer.
I love food and sports and I like to travel, preferably to Africa or Italy (among other things because of the delicious food and the good coffee).
Paul van Meer
Project Manager
As a project coordinator I am responsible (both internally and externally) for managing the project team in their various construction phases. The biggest challenge lies in translating the wishes of the customer into a solution within the technical possibilities, always taking into account the three preconditions: time, money and quality. In the end, good collaboration is crucial for every project. I enjoy ensuring that all those involved work together to achieve the joint end goal.
I enjoy doing fun things with my family, visiting festivals, running and cycling.
Han Coenen
Project Manager
I am trained as a construction engineer with a specialization in building physics and have developed into an all-round project manager. For me, the challenge in the work is the coordination of multidisciplinary projects, where I can be actively involved in making the projects successful.
I enjoy DIY, tennis and skiing, and enjoy good (fine) food, speciality beers and wines.
Stefan van Lith
Project Manager
‘A focus on design and execution’
At Ingenieursburo Ulehake I am involved as a multidisciplinary project leader in projects in the design and implementation phase. I have a constructive background and an affinity with other disciplines. “A focus on design and execution” is what I work on every day. Coming up with integrated solutions with an eye for other disciplines motivates me every day to achieve a good end result: “Get the job done”.
I enjoy spending time with family, friends and good cooking preferably combined with each other.
Peter Janssen
Project Manager
'Building together'
I have been working for over 25 years on a wide variety of projects throughout The Netherlands and since 2017 at Ulehake. The motivation for me in all projects is cooperation between customers, colleagues and with project partners. Good collaboration ensured we create the best results.
I enjoy cycling, hiking and long-distance walks. And I also enjoy DIY and gardening at home.
Rien van Pinxteren
Project Manager
'Alles sal reg kom! Building something starts with nothing.'
I have more than 40 years of experience as a structural engineer and now know several clients very well. I enjoy realizing projects together with clients preferably projects where my experience and knowledge comes into its own. I have an eye for details and a helicopter view. I pick things up quickly, have a wide knowledge of building materials and products and deliver on commitments. I am happy to share this experience with younger colleagues at Ulehake.
I enjoy traveling to warm countries, am an active volleyball player and a passive football fan, a keen walker, practitioner of the Russian language and avid quizzer.
Rowan Dekkers
Structural Engineer
'Delivering quality costs money but not delivering quality can be far more expensive.'
Designing and calculating structures is a specialist subject. Not very many people have extensive knowledge of this aspect of the construction process. I enjoy helping colleagues and clients to find and elaborate on constructive solutions. Appealing projects vary from utility and industrial buildings to apartment complexes and detached houses. My practical and thoughtful attitude ensures that there is ultimately an explainable solution.
Carlo van Uden
Structural Engineer
'Good construction is the basis of every building'
I have worked as a structural engineer at Ulehake for more than 20 years. The challenge of every project is together, with all other disciplines within the building process, to come up with a solid and suitable construction for everyone.
I am an active and passive sports enthusiast and above all I enjoy life.
Tanja Dekkers
Consultant Building Physics
'Being aligned with the latest regulations in a constantly changing environment, is important to me.'
In the years that I have been working at Ulehake, I have developed my expertise in testing building plans against fire safety requirements or performing acoustic investigations in the context of licensing. Giving acoustic advice without making a fuss is characteristic of me.
I enjoy good food with a glass of good wine, listening to music and reading. Ideally combining this with another of my hobbies: traveling.
Richard de Rijk
Structural Engineer
'Either we utilize an existing way, or we make a new one.'
At Ulehake I work with others to create constructive solutions to achieve optimum results. The challenge for me is to fathom out an existing construction or to come up with a suitable construction for an architectural design. Projects that are not standard in terms of design or choice of materials appeal to me the most as they require different calculation methods and/or details.
I am a big fan of Formula 1 and active in the Dutch carnival life as a member of the association and builder of carnival floats.
Mark van Sommeren
Structural Engineer
At Ulehake I am active in the development of (new) building constructions for all sectors. I am good at systematically working and automating processes, including in excel. Colleagues who have questions about this can contact me. I would like to further develop myself as a specialist within Ulehake. The greatest challenge of the work lies in the elaboration of larger structures that are not standard and where innovation is important.
Niek Nooijen
Structural Engineer
‘Veni, vidi, vici’
The biggest challenge in my job is searching with the architect and / or client for the best possible solutions to deliver the most cost-efficient final design. Communication is of great importance. Knowledge is an inexhaustible source and as such I am now studying to be a concrete / steel constructor at the HTI in Amsterdam. The knowledge I gain there can be immediately applied in practice.
I am a big music fan, from 70 to 90’s rock and techno, from jazz to heavy metal and even classical. I like to combine that with a visit to a (summer) festivals and I love to take summer road trips.
Kay Sanders
Structural Engineer
At Ingenieursburo Ulehake I work as a junior Structural Engineer designing, calculating and drawing constructions.
Niels Vervoort
Civil Engineer
I have worked, with great pleasure at Ingenieursburo Ulehake for quite some time. Here I have gained experience with all the aspects of the building process; from design to delivery. The development and transition from AutoCAD to Revit is very interesting and offers a huge amount of potential and is worth the extra energy I have put into it.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and you can find me regularly outside; active by bike, walking or running.
Astrid van Hinthum
Administrative assistant
I have worked at Ulehake for many years, starting as a receptionist / telephone operator and now the focus of my work is now on project and financial administration. For me, the diversity in work is the most pleasant thing about my job. Every hour is different, every day brings something new and I love that variation.
I am a mother of three (adult) children, run fast, love good cooking and food and go out regularly with my husband and the caravan.
Jordy van Rosmalen
Civil Engineer

'A good starting point is worth it.'
I have been working as a constructive draftsman in the drawing room of Ulehake for the last 10 years. I use my experience in AutoCad and Autodesk Revit to accurately work out various projects, from housing to industry beginning with a 3D study through to a detailed working drawing. Development in our working methods is important to me. I also have experience in working with BIM.
In my free time I regularly run or cycle and I also spend a lot of time drawing and painting.
Wilco van der Biezen
Revit designer
'There are always opportunities in the middle of difficulties.'
I enjoy working on an assignment from start to finish. Starting by defining the current situation, sketching designs together with the client, which are then worked out and delivered. In this way I learn new things every day. For the icing on the cake I can provide visualizations for the client, often with Photoshop.
I am a lover of football and Formula 1 and active in car detailing (optimizing the paintwork of cars).
